We are excited to share that our development team has recently implemented some updates and fixes to enhance your experience using Plebeian.

We've successfully addressed some bugs and introduced new features, including the ability to add videos to headers. Additionally, we resolved issues with zaps on profiles that were affected by an update to NDK, the library we use for handling Nostr functionalities. Here is a list of the changes:

Continuing to Build on Nostr

Plebeian is actively involved in enhancing and defining new standards for e-commerce on the Nostr protocol. Together with other forward-thinking projects such as ShopStr, Cypher, and Conduit, Plebeian is working collaboratively to advance NIP-99. This development aims to be inclusive, allowing future applications to evolve without constraints.

Some e-commerce features will be integrated as extensions of NIP-99, ensuring flexibility and innovation. Currently, Plebeian leverages NIP-15, thanks to the pioneering work by Ben Arc and the LNBits team. We are now merging the advanced capabilities of NIP-15 with the adaptability of NIP-99, aiming for a solution that's as future-proof as possible.

These enhancements will not only benefit the entire Nostr community but also uphold end-to-end privacy and foster interoperability among all Nostr projects. The new GitHub organization for this initiative will be known as GammaMarkets.
